The online store for the Trump organization in Thorsday began selling red hats and t -shirts with the message “Trump 2028”, feeding new questions about President Donald Trump that tries to find a third mandate in the White House despite A.

The White House, when asked about clothes, CNBC sent to the Trump organization. The Trump organization did not respond to a request for comments.

The White House Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, told NBC News: “But it’s a great hat and I suspect that it will be very popular!”

The hat costs $ 50, and a red shirt with the logo “Trump 2028” and “Rewrite the rules” under it is sold for $ 36.

Trump has repeatedly provided the idea that he would apply for a third mandate as president. This would require amending the constitution of the United States.

The 22nd amendment to the Constitution establishes in part: “No person will be chosen for the president’s office more than twice.” Trump was chosen in 2016 and then again in 2024.

At the end of March, Trump did not rule out the possibility of seeking re -election in 2028.

“Many people because I do it,” Trump told NBC News then. “But, I mean, basically I tell you that we have a long way to go, you know, it’s very early in the administration.”

Asked by NBC if I wanted a third mandate, Trump said: “I like to work.”

“I’m not joking,” Trump said. “But I am not, it’s too early to think about it.”

“There are methods that you could do,” said the president, referring to fulfilling another mandate.

“I suspect that I will run again, unless you say: ‘It’s so good that we must solve something else,” Trump told Republicans a private meeting after his November electoral victory over former Democratic vice president Kamala.

In May 2024, while talking to the members of the National Rifle Association, Trump said: “I don’t know, will we be considered three or two periods? Are we three or two terms if we win? ″ ⁣ ⁣

The former White House Advisor Steve Bannon said in “Real Time with Bill Maher” on April 11 that “President Trump will run for a third mandate, and President Trump will be elected again.”

“On the afternoon of January 20, 2029, he will be president of the United States,” Bannon predicted.

Bannon also said: “We have a team” or people seek to enable a third term for Trump.

Representative Andy Ogles, R-TEN

The Ogles resolution adapts specific to allow Trump to fulfill a third mandate, but does not allow the three presidents of two living periods to fulfill a third mandate.

“No person will be chosen for the president’s office more than three times, nor will he be chosen for an additional term after beer to two consecutive terms,” says the amendment.

Unlike Trump, former presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama completed two consecutive terms. Former President Joe Biden fulfilled a period.
