The UN Chief, Antonio Guterres, says he is “seriously Conern” about US air attacks this week in Yemen.

The United States has carried out 13 air attacks in the port and the Hodeidah airport, says the television channel affiliated with Houthi al Masirah, two days after an American air attack pointed to Puerto Ras Isa, also in Hodeidah, killing more people and hurting more Thane.

Masirah also reported on Saturday that three people died and four wounds due to an American attack against Al-Thawra, Bani Mata and the districts of Al-Safiah in the Sanaa capital.

The hutis have promised to carry out “more operations” despite the ongoing attacks in the United States.

The administration of the president of the United States, Donald Trump, announced an important military offensive against the Hutis a few weeks ago. He said that air attacks aim to force Hutíes to stop threatening ships that sail in the Red Sea on a crucial route for international trade.

Since November 2023, the group has launched more than 100 attacks on ships that, according to ships, are linked to Israel in response to the Israel War against Gaza and in solidarity with the Palestinians.

On Friday, Houthi’s official, Mohammed Nasser al-Atifi, told Al Masirah that the “crimes of the American enemy” will not dissuade the Yemeni people to support Gaza, but “rather to strengthen his firmness and resistance.”

The hutis, also known as Ansar Allah or “supporters of God”, are an armed group that controls most of the parts of Yemen, including Sanaa. The group emerged in the 1990s, but jumped to fame in 2014 when he seized Sanaa and forced President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi to flee the country.

The Secretary General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, “is seriously concerned about the air attacks made by the United States during April 17 and 18 in the port of Isa de Ra and its surroundings, which reported that Lummers, Incles, injuries, injuries, spokeswoman Stephane Dujarric said in a statement on Saturday.

Guterres expressed fears of harm to the port and “possible oil leaks in the Red Sea,” Dujarric added.

The attacks in Ras Isa were aimed at cutting supplies and funds for the hutis, the US army said. It was the deadliest attack of Washington’s 15 month campaign against the group aligned by Iran.

About 70 percent of Yemen imports and 80 percent of their humanitarian assistance pass through the ports of Ras Isa, Hodeidah and As-Salif.

Ras Isa is also the term of the Yemen main oil pipe, which, together with its port, are “critical and irreplaceable infrastructure” in Yemen, according to the UN Development Program.
